Education difference between bounty hunters and investigators.

Educational Attainment

Both professions do not have formal schooling or training. However, a majority of private investigator or detectives are college graduates. Many are graduates who have worked in Federal intelligence, police or military agencies, and then picked this as a second career.

Other private detectives have worked in the financial, insurance, law or investigative reporting industries. They’ve simply decided to apply sleuthing talents instead of management or administrative abilities in these fields.

In addition, a lot of states have made the private investigator licensing requirements a rigorous process. This in comparison to that of bail enforcement agents, whose work are only now beginning to be regulated.
